Fraud Alert: We have received reports of an employment scam by individuals claiming to represent Amicus. Potential job candidates have received unsolicited contact by phone, email, and/or social media from someone posing as an Amicus recruiter offering a role at the company. Interviews were then conducted solely by chat and survey which resulted in job offers from an “SVP of HR” or other Amicus person who requested financial commitments from candidates. Amicus has reported this conduct to state and federal authorities and is working with them to investigate.
Please note:
- Amicus does not conduct interviews by chat.
- Amicus never asks for private banking or confidential information from a job candidate.
- Amicus never asks for a financial commitment of any kind from a job candidate.
- Amicus lists open positions on the Amicus careers website.
- Amicus email addresses end in @amicusrx.com.
If any person purports to provide recruitment services for Amicus with any of the above tactics, including any financial commitment requests, please be advised that the person(s) is not affiliated in any way with Amicus.
If you believe you have been contacted by someone involved in an employment scam, please contact authorities.
